This painting depicts the emotions left behind in the wake of the wind's passing. The wind has no form, but its trace strongly remains in my heart. Like the memory of fingertips that lightly brushed past, these are eternal emotions that vanished but linger long in the mind.

The wind could be someone's gentle words, a gaze, or the warmth of a certain moment. I painted those wind-like presences that swept through my life. They are moments that passed and vanished, yet are still alive within me.

Clouds drift, trees sway, and water ripples. But what remains in that place is the unseen warmth of the wind. The negative space (Yeobaek) in the painting is the space reserved for that wind. Through this negative space, I seek to grasp the most genuine truth.
