Crossing the World with a Crooked Posture
This painting contains my intense desire to break free from established frameworks. The viewpoint looks upon the world from the side, not the front; the edge, not the center; a crooked angle, not a straight one. The figure standing diagonally is not merely twisting their body, but changing the direction of the mind in defiance of a rigid world.
We are all forced to live according to predetermined standards, but life is never straight. Rather, I discover a truth that is visible more clearly from that twisted place. This painting speaks of the freedom and expansion of vision that blooms within such distortion.
The posture may be crooked, but the heart remains the most honest. The world appears wider precisely because I step away from the center. While painting this work, I wanted to draw for myself the courage to live a little crookedly.
