The Natural Being
I do not readily agree with the statement that 'humans are superior beings who rule nature'. While I acknowledge that only humans have cultivated civilization based on intellect and unrestrained imagination, and have continuously evolved, I believe the more we do so, the more we need boundless humility. Humans are merely a fragment of nature. We can be swept away by strong winds, engulfed by floods, or extinguished by a single strike of lightning. We might even be miserably defeated by an invisible virus. Nevertheless, the imagination, technology, and wisdom residing within us grant us a special life force.
We often live forgetful of nature's embrace. We only realize the preciousness of oxygen when a crisis strikes. In my painting, fish freely fly across the sky, trees quietly grow below them, and clouds drift leisurely between them. Within that vast flow, humans might be merely specks of dust floating serenely.
Even in an era where machines threaten to dominate everything, pure instinct and curiosity as a part of nature still breathe within us. I hope that we never forget that deep-rooted connection, and I sincerely yearn for us to live in harmony with nature.
