I Rebound Now
The moment life sinks deeply, we begin to prepare ourselves for the rebound. This painting captures precisely that intense energy of recoil. Even amidst helplessness, frustration, and resignation, the power to rise back up to the surface clearly exists within us.
The red background, submerged as if underwater, is penetrated by a single line of light at its center. That light is suppressed emotion, self-esteem that had vanished, and hope that is blooming anew. Through this painting, I intended to convey the message that everyone can powerfully rebound someday.
That rebound does not have to be grand. Merely opening one's eyes, sitting up firmly, or taking a small, deep breath—that is enough. That is the rebound of life force itself.
